As you celebrate with family and friends this Fourth of July, please help keep our community safe by remembering a few important tips:

🍺 If you're drinking, plan ahead. Never drive impaired. Designate a sober driver, use a rideshare, or stay where you are until you're safe to travel.

🎆 Celebrate fireworks responsibly. Follow Pennsylvania fireworks laws, keep a safe distance, and never allow children to handle fireworks. Leave large displays to the professionals whenever possible.

☀️ Beat the heat. With high temperatures expected, drink plenty of water, take breaks in the shade or air conditioning, and check on children, older adults, neighbors, and pets. Never leave anyone—including pets—in a parked vehicle.
