The Nether Providence Township Police Department is investigating a stolen vehicle that took place in the early morning hours on November 5, 2024, in the 900blk of Truepenny Rd.  Residents within the Bowling Green section of the township are asked to review their home video surveillance cameras, between the hours of 01:00am and 02:20am, in an effort to identify those responsible.

Detectives are currently working with surrounding jurisdictions who also fell victim to numerous thefts from unlocked vehicles.

On November 5, 2024, Nether Providence Detectives located the stolen vehicle in Philadelphia.  An investigation into the stolen vehicle is ongoing.  Recovered from the stolen vehicle were two key fobs.

Residents, along with the surrounding communities, are asked to check their vehicles and/or residences, for missing key fobs.  Anyone who can identify the key fob(s) is asked to contact Detective James Irey at (610)-892-2875 or via email at jirey@netherprovidence.org.
