The Nether Providence Township Police Department is appealing for assistance as an investigation into a residential burglary on Monday (Sept. 9) in the 300 block of Crestview Circle continues. 

Residents of Crestview Circle with home surveillance systems are being asked to review their video footage to provide more detailed information, as the suspect may have distracted the victim while an unknown accomplice entered the home.  The incident is reported to have taken place between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. 

The male suspect is described as possibly Caucasian or Hispanic, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 inches tall, with a stocky build, wearing shorts and a blue and white shirt. 

Investigators are also seeking to identify a dark pickup truck, possibly a Ford F-150, with a black workbox in the truck's bed, seen in the area at the time.
