These deceitful messages are designed to look like official notifications from Microsoft Windows, instructing victims to call a provided phone number.

When unsuspecting individuals call the number, the scammers, posing as Microsoft technical agents, gain temporary access to the device via the victim's IP address. This allows them to redirect outgoing calls, furthering their fraudulent scheme. It is essential to exercise caution and never click on suspicious links or call numbers listed on these pop-ups.
