Due to a high level of public interest in the Linglestown Roundabout, the Lower Paxton Township Bureau of Police is happy to report on a vehicle crash that recently caused some damage to the roundabout.  On January 1, 2026 at approximately 4:00 AM, a single-vehicle crash occurred during a period of inclement weather.  The driver of a Volkswagen sedan, a 20-year old male, was traveling eastbound on Linglestown Road when it struck multiple signs and the roundabout before the vehicle came to a stop on N Mountain Road near Raspberry Lane.  Lower Paxton Township Bureau officers responded to the crash and spoke with the driver who remained on-scene and cooperated with the crash investigation. There is no indication this was anything other than a single-vehicle crash. There were no reported injuries as a result of the crash. 

PennDOT was made aware of the damaged signs and is working to get them replaced.  The Lower Paxton Township Bureau of Police does not regularly monitor social media outlets, therefore, anyone who wishes to make a report of any nature is asked to call the non-emergency number at 717-558-6900 or submit an anonymous tip through this website.
