On July 14, 2026, at approx. 5:40pm Lower Paxton Township Bureau of Police officers were dispatched to the 4000 block of Fawn Dr. for a reported shooting.  Officers arrived and found a male with a gunshot wound to the neck.  Officers provided first aid until EMS arrived and took over care.  Witnesses on scene provided a description of the suspect and the vehicle the suspect fled the scene in.  Susquehanna Township Police Officers located the suspect vehicle.  A pursuit of the suspect vehicle ensued and was ended when the suspect vehicle ran into a marked Lower Paxton Police unit. The suspect, identified as DeSean Robinson, was taken into custody.   He is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and related offenses.  

The altercation between Robinson and the victim began after two females had engaged in a fight.  One of those females, Mya Elias, was also arrested and charged with attempted homicide and simple assault.  Both Robsison and Elias are awaiting arraignment.  

The victim of the shooting is expected to survive.  A Lower Paxton Township Officer was injured while taking Robinson in Custody. The officer was treated at the hospital and released.
