On September 29th, around 7:10 pm, the Lower Paxton Bureau of Police responded to a shooting incident at the McDonald's parking lot, located in the 1000 block of Briarsdale Rd. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a juvenile victim who reported an earlier altercation with a male acquaintance in the parking lot. The acquaintance, identified as Azhan Nadeem of Mechanicsburg, allegedly pulled out a firearm and fired a single shot into the victim's vehicle, narrowly missing the victim.

A warrant was issued for Nadeem's arrest, charging him with Criminal Attempted Homicide, Firearms not to be Carried without a License, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. On September 30, 2026, Nadeem was apprehended in Baltimore City, Maryland, and is facing additional charges from the Baltimore City Police Department. He is currently awaiting extradition back to Pennsylvania.
