CRIME

This quarter, the Uniform Patrol Division (UPD) responded to 19,569 calls for service- 635 fewer than in the 2nd quarter in 2025. 

In collaboration with other agencies, 24 saturation details were conducted and included the use of the Bureau's Mountain Bike Unit. The details resulted in the recovery of multiple firearms and apprehension of 2 individuals with active warrants.

Additionally, there were 3 homicides this quarter. All three were quickly solved by the Criminal Investigative Division. 

COMMUNITY

The Community Services Division (CSD) participated in numerous City-wide events such as ArtsFest and Juneteenth, as well as hosted 2 community barbecues. In the meantime, CSD and the Bureau are looking forward to the upcoming preparations for National Night Out, which will be held on August 4th from 5:30-8PM at the PA Farm Show Complex and Expo Center.
