On Friday May 29th, at about 3:15 pm, Harrisburg Police responded to the area of North 6th and Emerald Streets for a report of a shooting with an individual struck. Officers arrived at the scene and immediately located a juvenile male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid to the victim and secured the area. The victim was transported to a local hospital for emergency care but succumbed to his injuries. An investigation was immediately initiated and is ongoing at this time.
