On Friday August 7th, 2026, the Harrisburg Police executed a search warrant in reference to an active child abuse investigation. Subsequent to the search warrant and ongoing investigation the Harrisburg Police have arrested and charged Raheem Akbar Shabazz Floyd with multiple felony and misdemeanor assault, firearms, and drug related offenses.

Floyd is accused of using a lighter to burn a small child, while the child was unable to move. Floyd is also accused of having a firearm and drugs in his possession upon being arrested.
