On Friday, November 18, 2016 at 4:15pm, the Ephrata Police responded to a crash involving two vehicles in the first block of E Mohler Church Rd. in Ephrata Township. A VW Jetta driven by Joseph Braun, 64 of Stevens crossed the center line and struck a Kia Soul driven by William Robinson Jr., 54, of Parkville, MD. There were two passengers in Robinson Jr's vehicle. All occupants of both vehicles were transported to Lancaster General Hospital. The road was closed for approximately two hours while police investigated the crash.

Two of Robninson's passengers were admitted to the hospital:

Denise Robinson,  63, of Parkville, MD was admitted with an arm injury. She is listed in stable condition.

Shirley Singleton, 61, of Hanover, PA was admitted with multiple fractures.  She is listed in stable condition.
