Interested in a job at the District Attorney's Office?  We're Hiring!  The Forensic Investigative Division (FID) of the District Attorney's Office is currently has an opening for a digital forensic examiner.  

The digital forensic examiner performs complete laboratory analysis of forensic evidence submitted to the digital section of the laboratory. Complete analysis includes maintaining chain of custody, preservation, acquisition and analysis of data, review of data, report generation, and expert testimony.  In addition to performing analysis of case samples, quality control procedures are followed and troubleshooting of software takes place as needed.  The digital forensic examiner maintains compliance with accreditation standards and the laboratory’s quality management system.  All work is to be performed in an unbiased objective manner.  The forensic laboratory analyst supports the mission of the laboratory and the Office of the District Attorney as necessary.

In addition to laboratory work, the digital forensic examiner will be on call 24/7 and perform evidence collection, documentation, and presumptive testing at crime scenes as needed.
