On June 16, 2023, Miguel Toscano was sentenced by the Honorable Judge Jessica E. Brewbaker to 10 to 20 years in state prison with 3 years of consecutive probation. Toscano entered guilty pleas to Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse - Victim Under 16, Terroristic Threats, Sexual Assault, and Indecent Assault arising from several incidents within Cumberland County with three separate victims, one being 13 years old at the time.
Beginning around June of 2020 through June of 2021 within Wormleysburg Borough, Toscano, who was 21 at the time, engaged in a sexual relationship with the victim (1) when she was 13 years of age. On January 10, 2022, the Toscano saw the victim (1) in East Pennsboro Township and threaten her, putting her in fear of her safety.
On October 29, 2029, in East Pennsboro Township, Toscano did have sexual intercourse with the victim (2) without her consent.
On November 17, 2021, Toscano forcibly kissed the victim (3) several times, put his hand under her sweatshirt, and proceeded to "touch, feel, hold, and pinch" her breasts in Camp Hill Borough without her consent. Toscano told the victim he did not care what she wanted.
The District Attorney's Office would like to commend Lt. John Friel of West Shore Regional Police Department, Det. Denelle Owen of East Pennsboro Township Police Department, Ptl. Chad Tate of Camp Hill Police Department, and Ptl. Ryan Leen of East Pennsboro Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Chief Deputy District Attorney Julia Skinner.
