On Friday November 21st, 2025 the Camp Hill Police Department began investigating a theft from a resident at Camp Hill Skilled Nursing located at 1700 Market Street. During an investigation it was found that the daughter of a care dependent resident was taking money out of the resident's bank account without permission and using it for her own personal benefit. It was also found that the daughter was supposed to be using the money to pay for her mother's bills while she was a resident in the nursing home which was not being done. The amount of money that was unlawfully taken by the daughter from her mother (resident) was $27,462. This resulted in a 57 year old female with a Camp Hill address being charged with the charges listed above.
