On Saturday, August 8th, Camp Hill community member Madilyn hosted a highly successful Alex's Lemonade Stand in the Camp Hill Borough. Through her efforts, Madilyn raised an impressive $5,000 on Saturday alone. This remarkable achievement brings her total fundraising amount over the past six years to over $10,000, all dedicated to fighting against childhood cancer.
Madilyn's selfless efforts are inspired by her late cousin Harper, who sadly passed away from childhood cancer. Her dedication to this cause is a testament to her cousin's memory and a shining example of community spirit.
The event received support from local law enforcement and first responders, with Sgt. Fruhwirth, Officer Walter, and the Camp Hill Fire Department stopping by to purchase lemonade and show their support for this worthy cause.
We would like to extend our congratulations to Madilyn on her outstanding achievement and thank her for her tireless efforts in making a difference in the fight against childhood cancer.
