BLOOMSBURG PARTNERS WITH PASSPORT
EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2024
- The Town of Bloomsburg is introducing Passport, a new, easy-to-use mobile payment application to replace Pango.
- During the transition period (June 15-30, 2024) meter enforcement will cease temporarily. It will resume July 1, 2024.
- You will be able to pay for parking sessions once you download the free Passport Parking app from the App Store or Google Play. Or go to www.passportparking.com for step by step instructions.
- Signs will be placed throughout town to indicate the one and only zone for the downtown area. (1850) and one other zone for E 2nd Street in the vicinity of Bloomsburg University (1851).
- When you choose the zone in the app, the screen will advise you of the costs, time restrictions and choices for length of stay. You will be able to add time from a remote location.
- If you drive multiple vehicles you can add them all in the app but must choose the correct license plate when you pay to park. Enforcement is done by license plate.
- There will be over 220 meters in the downtown as a coin choice should you choose not to use the app.
- Passport will also handle the payment of parking tickets and the link will be on the ticket, should you receive one.
- Effective July 1, 2024 parking rates will increase to .75 per hour for the downtown Zone 1850 and 2.00 per hour for E 2nd Street Zone 1851.
