Street Maintenance – Snow Removal
Bloomsburg Public Works Department will be following the standard Street Maintenance route next week, February 2 – February 6.
You MUST move your vehicles.
Public Works will be using this opportunity to remove as much snow as they are able. The plan is to physically remove the snow where they can, not just plow. For this to be effective, it does require vehicles to be clear of the street. Due to the amount of snow that has fallen, it is possible that Public Works may not be able to complete snow removal in certain sections during the allotted times. If that happens, ‘No Parking’ signs will be posted the following week, February 9 – February 13, in those areas. We understand this is frustrating, but it is also necessary.
Parking Enforcement is aware that moving vehicles is going to be a challenge, especially when trying to stay within your designated permit areas. They will take this into consideration when issuing permit tickets.
Please check bloompd.com, the Bloomsburg Police Facebook page, or the Town Hall Facebook page for official information and updates.
We thank you for your patience while we all work together to clear the snow.
