The Bloomsburg Police Department was dispatched to the 300 block of East Street for an active fight. While investigating, they were informed that there were shots fired in the 300 block of Catherine Street. During the police investigation, there were 2 individuals identified as suspected shooters. One juvenile suspect was detained as he fled the scene, and the other juvenile is being sought. No known injuries were sustained. This is believed to be a targeted incident and there is no current threat to the public. The Bloomsburg Police are actively investigating this incident. Police are also asking residents on Iron Street from East 3^rd Street south toward the river to check their video surveillance between 5:20pm – 5:45pm for any suspicious individuals or activity.
