The Woodard Township Police Department have arrested 49 year old Keith Chaplain Jr, currently homeless, and charged him with 3rd degree felony Theft by Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property and Theft by Deception.  On 06/08/26, Chaplain failed to return a lawn mower to the victim after a brief use.  Chaplain drove the lawn mower to Jersey Shore at least twice and was stopped by Jersey Shore Police and the lawn mower recovered.  A warrant had been issued for Chaplain and on 07/13/26 he was arrested on that warrant.  On 07/13/26, Chaplain was arraigned before MDJ Keith Kibler and bail was set at $1500 monetary.  Chaplain was committed to the Clinton County Correctional Facility.
