On July 17th 2023 Michael A. Morgret  of West Martin Street, Avis was taken into custody on an arrest warrant as a result of 3 separate drug deliveries. Morgret has been charged with 3 counts of delivery of a controlled substance, 3 counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, 3 counts of criminal use of a communication facility and 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance. Michael Morgret is accused of selling 1 gram of bath salts to an informant on February 14, 2022 for $80. On March 9, 2022 Morgret is accused of selling  1 gram of methamphetamine for $80 and on May 3, 2022 Morgret has been accused of selling 2 grams of bath salts for $100. On all 3 drug deliveries Morgret used facebook messenger, a electronic communication service to coordinate the drug sale. 

Michael Morgret was taken to the Clinton County Correctional Facility for a preliminary arraignment and was arraigned by District Judge Kibler. Bail was set at $60,000. Morgret was committed to the Clinton County Correctional Facility after being unable to post the bail.  On 7/21/23 Michael Morgret posted bail and was released from the Correctional Facility.
