Pennridge Regional Police Officers handled 173 incidents during the week of January 4th to the 10th, 2026. A total of 39 traffic citations and warnings were issued during the same week.
INCIDENTS
Disturbance: On January 4th, 2026, officers responded to St. Lukes Grand View for a female causing a disturbance. Upon arrival it was determined that the female was upset with a lack of care being provided by the hospital. The female causing the disturbance was upset due to there being no mental health care professional at the hospital. After some discussion the female agreed to remain calm and wait for the proper care.
Noise Complaint: Police were notified of a large explosion in the area of County Line Road and Cowpath Road on January 5th, 2026. Police were able to identify the incident to have occurred on the Mongomery County side of County Line Road. Franconia Police were able to identify the source of the noise/explosion and are investigating.
Harassment/Road Rage Incident: Pennridge Regional Police responded to the intersection of Ridge Road and Bethlehem Pike for a female caller reporting that she was involved in a road rage incident. Upon arrival of police the caller reported that she was stopped at the traffic light and that a Jeep was following her. The driver of the Jeep exited the vehicle and began to strike her car windows. The caller drove off and the driver of the Jeep continued to follow her for a considerable distance. Police have identified a suspect and are still investigating.
Weapons Violation: Police are investigating a complaint regarding the attempted illegal purchase of a firearm from a business in West Rockhill Township. The incident is still currently under investigation.
Suspicious Activity: On January 10th, 2026, police were contacted by a female who was reporting that she maybe a victim of an attempted fraud. The caller relayed that they received a phone call from an unknown number and when it was answered the male on the other end identified themselves as a law enforcement official. The male told the caller that she owed $15,500 due to missing a court hearing. The fine was to be paid at the Sunoco located on Lawn Ave. At this point the female disconnected the line, determining it was an attempted scam.
ARRESTS
Disorderly Conduct Arrest: A 24-year-old female resident of Allentown was cited with disorderly conduct following a disturbance at St. Lukes Penn Foundation on January 5th. The female had struck another resident of the facility, knocking her to the ground. No injuries were reported.
Drug Arrest: A juvenile allegation was filed with Bucks County Juvenile Probation following a student being found to be in possession of a THC vape pen at the Pennridge High School.
PFA Violation: A 34-year-old male resident of West Rockhill was taken into custody on January 7th, 2026, following him violating a protection from abuse order. The male was arraigned by District Magistrate O’Neil and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
Harassment: A 50-year-old male resident of Pottstown was cited for harassment and scattering rubbish after he was identified as the driver of a dump truck that was throwing tobacco canisters in the yard of a home in the 2000 block of Ridge Road. The male was identified following video evidence of the canisters being thrown from the dump truck as it passed the home. The investigating officer was able to identify the company that owned the truck utilizing the police department’s license plate reader cameras. The driver admitted to throwing the tobacco canisters in the property since 2024 and added he would write politically charged statements on the canisters. Pennridge Regional Police received nearly 15 complaints from the homeowners regarding the canisters with statements inscribed on them.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
January 5th, 2026: An Audi SUV struck a deer as it crossed the roadway at Rt. 313 and Stermer Mill Road. No injuries were reported but the Audi had to be towed from the scene.
January 6th, 2026: A two-vehicle traffic accident occurred on Rt. 313 and Old Bethlehem Road involving a Chevrolet Silverado and a Hyundai Tucson. Upon investigation it was determined that the Chevrolet had pulled out from Old Bethlehem Road onto Rt. 313 and was struck by the Hyundai. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
January 8th, 2026:
A minor two vehicle traffic crash occurred in the circle intersection of Three Mile Run Road and Park Ave. Upon arrival of police, it was determined that an unknown motorcycle had struck a Bucks County Intermediate Ford bus and fled the scene. No injuries were reported and minor damage was done to the bus.
Police responded to a minor traffic accident on Ridge Road in the area of Schwenkmill Road, where a Hyundai Tucson missed the driveway of a home and drove into a the ditch. No injuries were reported and only minor damage occurred to the vehicle.
January 9th, 2026:
Pennridge Regional Police responded to the area of Forrest Road and Old Bethlehem Pike for a three-vehicle traffic accident involving a Chevrolet Equinox, a Ford Bronco and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Following a brief investigation, it was determined that the Chevrolet Equinox made a right hand turn off of Old Bethlehem Pike onto Forrest Road and struck the Ford and Jeep. No injuries were reported and minor damage occurred.
A minor hit and run crash occurred in the rear parking lot of the Country Place involving an Ram truck and an unknown other vehicle. The Ram was unoccupied and appeared to have been hit causing minor damage. No suspect vehicle information was available.
