Pennridge Regional Police Officers handled 175 incidents during the week of July 12th to the 18th, 2026. A total of 79 traffic citations and warnings were issued during the same week.
INCIDENTS
Theft Report: Officers responded to a home in the 500 block of Callowhill Road for a report of a theft of a flag that was displayed on the property. The homeowner reported that at some time while he was on vacation an unknown actor removed a political sign off of their property.
Fraud: A resident from the 400 block of Holly Drive contacted police in regard to their computer being hacked by an unknown person. The owner of the computer reported that while conducting an update, it was accessed where $50,000 was transferred from an online trading site to an unknown bank account. Police are investigating the report.
Reckless Driver/Harassment: On July 14th, 2026, a motorist traveling on Rt.313 contacted police to report that they were being harassed by another driver due to the speed they were traveling at. Police were able to stop the driver and the situation was diffused. All parties involved were released.
Identity Theft: A resident from the 400 block of Three Mile Run Road reported that two credit card accounts were opened in their names by an unknown actor. There was no financial loss, and the resident was instructed to contact their banks and monitor their credit accounts.
ARRESTS
Trespassing/Criminal Mischief: Three juveniles were referred to the Youth Aid Panel following their police contact July 12th, 2026, after entering an abandoned property in the 2000 block of Old Bethlehem Pike and damaging a window on the property.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
July 12th, 2026: A two vehicle traffic crash occurred at the intersection of Forrest Road and Bethlehem Pike when a Chrysler 300 and a Jeep Renegade collided. Upon arrival of police it was determined that the Chrysler had pulled out from the stop sign and was hit by the Jeep. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
July 13th, 2026: Officers responded to the 1300 block of Lawn Ave. for a traffic accident involving a dump truck that struck a mailbox and did not stop. Police were unable to identify the vehicle from the provided description.
July 17th, 2026: A Harley Davidson motorcycle and a Hyundai collided on Allentown Road when the Hyundai stopped suddenly for an animal in the roadway. Minor injuries were reported.
July 18th, 2026: A Ford truck struck a pole in the parking lot of the Horse Tavern while attempting to turn around following the detour of a road closure. No injuries reported.
