Pennridge Regional Police Officers handled 177 incidents during the week of April 26th to May 2nd, 2026. A total of 53 traffic citations and warnings were issued during the same week.
INCIDENTS
Burglary: Police responded to A&T Chevrolet on April 27th, 2026 for a report of an unknown actor attempting to access the garages during the early morning hours. Video surveillance showed a Honda sedan enter the parking lot with a male exiting the vehicle and walking around the lot. Additional video was obtained where the male was attempting to enter the building by prying up a garage door. No entry was made into the property.
Attempted Fraud/Scam: A resident of the 200 block of Green Top Road reported that they received a phone call regarding activity on their American Express card. The resident provided some personal information based on the fact that they believed they were speaking with a representative of American Express. The following morning the resident spoke with another person on the phone identifying themselves as an employee of Santander Bank, regarding a $50 payment on their account from American Express. The purchase was not authorized, and it was later found to be a scam.
Attempted Scam: On April 27th, 2026, police were contacted by a resident of the 2300 block of Three Mile Run Road regarding suspicious text messages they received. The caller explained that the text messages advised that they had an active arrest warrant for failure to pay traffic fines. After some brief discussion with the police, the resident recognized that the messages were fraud attempts.
Theft of Services: The property owner of an apartment complex located in the 200 block of Goldmine Road reported that an unauthorized party was using the dumpster at the property. The owner found several pieces of mail and cardboard boxes in the communal dumpster. The owners of the mail/cardboard boxes were contacted and there was a misunderstanding. No further police action was taken.
Drug Investigation: On April 28th, 2026, police responded to St. Lukes Grand View Hospital for a report of a patient who possessed suspected illegal narcotics. The patient was being treated for medical issues when staff became aware of the patient possessing and using illegal narcotics. Criminal charges could be filed following laboratory testing.
Harassment Complaint: Police responded to a complaint of harassment in the 500 block of Campus Drive, between neighbors. The caller reported being harassed while walking their dog past a specific home in the neighborhood. It was determined that obscenities were yelled at the resident on several occasions. After speaking the both parties involved it was recommended that they avoid each other.
Trespassing Complaint: Police responded to the M&M Quarry located in the 2800 block of Clymer Road for a report of several juveniles on Ebikes trespassing in the quarry. Police responded and were unable to locate the juveniles.
Disturbance: On April 30th, 2026, police responded to St. Lukes Grand View for a patient who was acting erratically. The patient was experiencing a medical issue and was unable or unwilling to follow the requests of staff. After police arrived the patient allowed treatment and was later admitted into the hospital.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
April 30th, 2026: Officers responded to the intersection of Rt. 313 and Ridge Road for a two vehicle traffic accident involving a Mazda that turned left in front of a Ford Explorer. No injuries were reported and neither vehicle was towed from the scene.
