Crime Blotter May 10th to the 16th 2026

Pennridge Regional Police Officers handled 208 incidents during the week of May 10th to the 16th, 2026.  A total of 48 traffic citations and warnings were issued during the same week.

INCIDENTS

DUI Investigation: On May 11th, 2026, a Pennridge Regional officer performed a vehicle stop on a gray Hyundai after observing several motor vehicle violations on Rt. 313 in the area of Ridge Road. The officer made contact with the driver and observed signs of intoxication. The female driver was asked to perform field sobriety tests, in which she performed poorly. The female driver was transported to St. Lukes Grand View for a blood draw and upon receipt of laboratory testing the female may be charged.

Fraud Report: A resident of the 500 block of Schwenkmill Road reported to police that they had just became aware of an open Verizon account from 2022 that was taken out in the maiden name of the resident. The account had an amount of nearly $4100 but was closed by Verizon shortly after.

Disturbance: On May 13th, 2026, police were dispatched to the Homestead Campground for a report of a physical disturbance between management and a resident. The disturbance occurred based on a complaint regarding the drinking water at the campground being contaminated with bacteria, causing the resident to be sick. No criminal charges were filed.

Suspicious Person Investigation: Police were dispatched to the Pennridge Animal Hospital and then to a residence in the 2500 block of Ridge Road for a male walking on the property and acting strange. The male had first stopped at the animal hospital and was inquiring about his missing dog and then continued to ask strange questions regarding animal adoptions. The male left and then was found on Ridge Road at a residence where he advised police, he was there to provide an estimate to do work on the property. This was found to not be true, and the male was escorted from the property and released by police.

Unwanted Person: On May 14th, 2026, police were dispatched to St. Luke’s Grand View for a male who was refusing to leave the property. Upon arrival of police, security advised police that the male had been sitting in the lobby of the hospital for the last hour or so and when asked to leave refused. When police spoke to the male he advised that he needed to charge his phone but had nowhere to go. After brief discussion the male was provided a ride to a Doylestown bus stop to travel home to Bensalem.

Animal Complaint: On May 16th, 2026 police received several calls regarding a black bear wandering in the 2000 block of Three Mile Run Road. One of the callers reported the bear had damaged a few bird feeders on the property. Residents are reminded to avoid contact with wildlife whenever possible.

ARRESTS

Harassment Arrest: A 28-year-old female resident of West Rockhill was cited for summary harassment following a domestic incident that occurred at her residence in the 3200 block of Meetinghouse Road. Police arrived at the home following a call to police regarding a physical altercation between the female and the father of her child. When police arrived, minor physical injuries were observed to the male.

Dog Law Violation: A 69-year-old male resident of East Rockhill was cited for containment of dogs following an incident involving his dog running into the neighbor’s yard. This is an ongoing issue with the neighbors.

Disorderly Conduct Arrest: A 63-year-old male was charged with Disorderly Conduct following an incident that occurred on May 7th, 2026, where police were called to the Manderfield Preserve on Allentown Road. Upon investigation it was determined that an argument occurred between two males and a male and female over dogs not being on leashes. The male in question struck one of the males in an attempt to knock his phone out of his hand. No injuries occurred.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS

May 12th, 2026: Pennridge Regional Police were dispatched to a two-vehicle hit and run at Old Bethlehem Pike and Three Mile Run Road. Upon arrival it was determined that a Ford Transit van and an unknown vehicle collided in the roundabout. Minor damage occurred to the Ford van.
