Pennridge Regional Police Officers handled 203 incidents during the week of June 30th to July 6th, 2024. A total of 54 traffic citations and warnings were issued during the same week.
INCIDENTS
Criminal Mischief: On June 30th, 2024, officers responded to a residence in the 2500 block of County Line Road for a report of an unwanted person and damage to a motorcycle on the property. The property owner reported that a former partner had returned to the property uninvited and caused approximately $3900 in damage. No charges were filed at the request of the property owner.
Suspicious Activity: While conducting a business check at B.R. Scholl’s, 2300 N. 5th St., a suspicious person was found walking on the property. The officer made contact and found that the person was advised not to be on the property. No further action was taken.
DUI Investigation: On July 4th, 2024, officers were dispatched to a report of a male unconscious in their vehicle, at the gas pumps located at Bodkins Sunoco. Upon arrival officers investigated the welfare of the male and found that he may have ingested narcotics. A DUI investigation was conducted, and the male driver was asked to submit to a drug screening of his blood. Charges may be filed upon receipt of blood results.
ARRESTS INCIDENTS
Driving Under Suspension Arrest: Nena Marie Lopez, 436 of Telford, was charged with driving under suspension DUI related 3rd offense following a vehicle stop on June 29th, 2024. Criminal charges were sent out as a summons and a court date will be set in the future.
Simple Assault Arrest: Dajah Bond, 28 of East Rockhill, was arrested for simple assault, and harassment after she threw a television remote at a caretaker. The caretaker showed signs of injury to their neck, that consisted of a small scratch and redness. Ms. Bond was released and will have a preliminary hearing scheduled in the future.
Robbery and Assault Arrest: Jason Plenderleith, 43 of Quakertown, was arrested following a disturbance at the Pizza Pub, 1115 Old Bethlehem Pike on July 6th, 2024. Mr. Plenderleith was involved in a fight in the parking lot of the establishment, where he allegedly attempted to remove an occupant from a vehicle in the parking lot in an attempt to steal the vehicle. Mr. Plenderleith was charged with attempted Robbery, assault and several other related charges and remanded to Bucks County Prison on $150,000 bail.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
June 30th 2024: Officers responded to the 1300 block of Bethlehem Pike for a one vehicle traffic crash involving a Honda Civic that had slide on the wet roadways and struck a mailbox. There were no injuries reported.
July 4th, 2024: Pennridge Regional Police Department responded to the are of the 1300 block of Ridge Valley Road for a one vehicle traffic accident. Upon arrival officers found a Chrysler 200 that had run off the roadway and struck a tree off of the roadway. The vehicle was towed from the scene and the driver of the vehicle was cited for leaving the roadway.
July 5th, 2024: A one vehicle traffic crash was reported in the area of Three Mile Run Road in the area of Schoolhouse Road. Upon arrival of officers, it was found that a Ford Explorer had run off the roadway and struck a mailbox and then ended up into the culvert along the roadway.
July 6th, 2024: Officers responded to the area of Ridge Valley Road and S. Tower Road for a one vehicle traffic accident involving a Ram pick up truck. Upon investigation it was found that the Ram truck had run off the road and struck a fixed object in the culvert that ran along the roadway.
