Pennridge Regional Police Officers handled 152 incidents during the week of January 25th to the 31st, 2026. A total of 12 traffic citations and warnings were issued during the same week.
INCIDENTS
Drug Possession: On January 25th, 2026, police were dispatched to St. Lukes Grand View Hospital for a report of a male patient who was found to be in the possession of suspected narcotics. The male was transported to the hospital after suffering an overdose and while being treated in the ICU, illegal narcotics were found. No charges will be filed based on the circumstances of the incident.
DUI Crash Investigation: Police responded to the area of Rt. 313 and Three Mile Run Road for a one vehicle crash involving a yellow Nissan Xterra. The Nissan ran off the roadway and struck the guiderail and a utility police. The driver exhibited signs of intoxication and complained of injury, so she was transported to St Lukes Grand View for medical treatment and a blood draw. Criminal charges are pending the result of testing.
Missing Person Investigation: Police investigated a missing person from the 2500 block of Wellington Way on January 28th, 2026. A 29-year-old male had left that location following a mental health breakdown. The male was located several days later in Washington DC, with the coordination of the family, Washington DC Metro PD and our department. The male is receiving the necessary mental health care.
Weapons Offense Investigation: Police were contacted on January 30th, 2026, by a police department in the western part of Pennsylvania regarding the illegal transfer of firearms from one person to another. The transfer occurred at a business in East Rockhill township. Police are investigating.
DUI Crash Hit/Run Investigation: Police responded to a residence in the 000 block of Stone Edge Road for a fight between brothers. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that one brother had arrived home and was intoxicated. A fight in the home occurred when the brother attempted to leave, and family members attempted to restrain him from leaving. At some point it was determined that the brother had struck a street sign on Three Mile Run Road and damage was present on the vehicle. The brother was transported to the hospital, where he was treated and a blood draw was conducted. Charges are pending the result of testing.
Fraud: A resident of the 2500 block of Old Bethlehem Pike contacted police on January 31st regarding them becoming a victim of fraud. The resident reported having a problem with their new printer and while attempting to obtain services for the printer, the service tech accessed their computer and phone. Once the service tech had access to the electronic devices, they advised the resident they were eligible for a $50 rebate but once awarded the rebate the deposit was found to be $50,000. The resident was instructed to withdraw $20,000 and cash the money into bitcoin. The service tech remained on the line the entire time and was able to immediately transfer the bitcoin to their account. Once the transfer was complete the line was terminated and no further assistance could be provided.
Weapons Offense: Pennridge Regional Police were contacted by Pennsylvania State Police regarding a person attempting to purchase a firearm form American Arms and Ammo when they were not permitted to do so. Police are still currently investigating.
ARRESTS
DUI Arrest: A criminal complaint was filed against a 35-year-old female from Horsham following a traffic accident on Ridge Valley Road on January 11th, 2026. The female driver drove her GMC Acadio off the roadway and into a ditch. During the course of the crash investigation the female exhibited signs of intoxication and was transported to St. Lukes Grand view for a blood draw. The results of laboratory testing revealed her blood alcohol concentration to be over the legal limit.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
January 27th, 2026: An Infiniti SUV struck a deer as it crossed the roadway on Fifth St. in the area of Rt. 313. No injuries were reported.
January 29th, 2026: Police responded to a one vehicle traffic accident in front of the Markey Park in East Rockhill township for a Chevrolet pick up truck that ran off the roadway and struck a utility pole. Minor injuries were reported and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
