Pennridge Regional Police Officers handled 168 incidents during the week of February 1st to the 7th, 2026. A total of 14 traffic citations and warnings were issued during the same week.
INCIDENTS
Theft Investigation: Officers responded to the 1100 block of Bethlehem Pike on February 3rd, 2026, for a report of a stove that had been stolen from a rental property. Upon arrival of police, it was determined that the stove had been placed on a landing outside of the property and was recently removed. After a brief investigation it was determined that the stove was removed by a contractor.
Burglary Investigation: On February 4th, 2026, the business owners of Bazella Group contacted police due to a burglary that occurred to one of their trailers. The trailer was on the Derstine Foods property located in the 1100 block of Meetinghouse Road. An unknown actor broke the locking mechanisms on both doors to the trailer and removed over $10,000 worth of tools from the trailer and $5,000 worth of damage to the trailer itself.
Weapons Offense: The Pennridge Regional Police Department was contacted by the Pennsylvania State Police regarding the attempted purchase of a firearm from American Arms and Ammo in East Rockhill Township. It was reported that a person prohibited from owning/purchasing a firearm attempted to do so on August 15th, 2024. Police are still investigating.
Theft Report: A resident of the 1200 block of Allentown Road contacted police regarding their trash being stolen. The cost to replace the trash can from the trash hauler is $75.
Assist Agency: On February 6th, 2026, police responded along with Sellersville Fire Company for a report of a gas leak. It was determined that the gas leak was the result of a construction company striking a gas line. Police stood by while the fire company and gas company made the area safe. A few evacuations occurred but were later returned to their places. No injuries were reported.
Fraud Investigation: Police were contacted by a resident of the 1000 block of Washington Ave. who reported that they were defrauded of nearly $3500, while attempting to purchase a parrot. The parrot was found on a pet sharing website, and the resident was told to send numerous payments through numerous online sites to pay for services to purchase the bird. Police are still investigating.
ARRESTS
Dog Law Violation: A 69-year-old male resident of West Rockhill was issued two non-traffic citations for containment of dogs on February 7th, 2026, after police responded to the 2500 block of Buttercreek Road for a resident reporting that four of their chickens were killed by a large dog and a smaller dog. The owner of the dogs was located and the citations were issued.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
February 1st, 2026: Officer responded to the area of Three Mile Run Road and Park Ave. for a minor two vehicle traffic crash involving a Kia Forte and a Chevrolet Malibu. Upon arrival of the police, it was determined that the Kia failed to yield to the Malibu that was already in the traffic circle, resulting in minor damage.
February 2nd, 2026: A Toyota Highlander struck a deer as it crossed Bethlehem Pike in the area of Forrest Road. No injuries were reported and the Toyota was driven from the scene.
February 4th, 2026: A minor two vehicle traffic crash occurred on Lonely Road at the curve of Jesmont Road when a Jeep Wrangler and a Chevrolet dually pick up truck collided as both vehicles navigated the curve in the roadway. No injuries were reported and minor damage occurred.
February 7th, 2026: Police responded to the intersection of Rich Hill Road and Old Bethlehem Pike for a two-vehicle traffic crash involving a Subaru Forrester and a Dodge Challenger. The Subaru had entered Old Bethlehem Pike from Rich Hill Road pulling out in front of the Challenger. No injuries were reported but both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
