Pennridge Regional Police Officers handled 152 incidents during the week of December 28th, 2025, to January 3rd, 2026. A total of 12 traffic citations and warnings were issued during the same week.
INCIDENTS
Fraud: Police were contacted on December 28th, 2025, by a caretaker of a resident residing in the 600 block of Tower Road. The resident fell victim to a phone scam where an unknown individual contacted them, soliciting donations for the local police department. The resident did make a $50 payment to the fraudulent caller.
Theft: On December 29th, 2025, a local business contacted police in regard to a theft of used cooking oil from the rear of the business. The used cooking oil was valued at $200. It is unclear as to when the theft took place due to the oil being collected every three to six months.
Suspicious Activity: A resident of the 1100 block of Allentown Road contacted police regarding them being followed by an unknown person. The resident believes that they are being followed due to the death of a family member and a dispute over property. No description or further information was provided by the resident.
DUI Investigation: On January 1st, 2026, a vehicle stop was performed on a Honda Civic for a traffic violation. During the course of the vehicle stop the operator showed signs of intoxication and was taken into custody and transported to St. Lukes Grand View for a blood draw to determine the level of illegal substances in their blood.
Disturbance: Police responded to St. Lukes Grand View on January 3rd, 2026, for a report of a report of a fight in the parking lot. Upon arrival of the police the actors involved in the incident were no longer on scene. Police spoke with security and found out that a patient was discharged from the hospital following them causing a disturbance. Police were unable to obtain any evidence of a fight and spoke with the patient who was uncooperative with police.
ARRESTS
Warrant Service: A 43-year-old male resident of East Rockhill was taken into custody on December 31st, 2025, for an arrest warrant out of the state of Connecticut. Police responded to residence in the 2800 block of Hill Road for a report of a male on scene with an active warrant for violating a protection from abuse order. The male was taken into custody and arraigned by Judge Galloway and bail was set at $50,000, the male was transported to Bucks County Prison.
Disorderly Conduct: A 34-year-old male resident of Hilltown Township was charged with Disorderly Conduct on January 3rd, 2026, following him making a threat at St. Lukes Grand View after being unhappy with a lack of medical care.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
December 28th, 2025: A Nissan Pathfinder and a Jeep Compass collided on Old Bethlehem Pike and Ridge Road, when the Nissan made a left-hand turn striking the Compass as it stopped at the stop sign on Old Bethlehem Pike. Minor damage occurred and no injuries were reported.
December 29th, 2025: A Chevrolet Silverado was struck by a large piece of ice while traveling on Rt. 313 in the area of Three Mile Run Road. The truck sustained damage but no injuries were reported.
December 30th, 2025: A three-vehicle traffic crash occurred on Lawn Ave in the area of Rt. 309, involving a Ford F150, a Ford F350 and a Subaru Legacy. Upon investigation it was determined that the Ford F150 had traveled into oncoming traffic, striking the Ford F350. When the F350 attempted to avoid the F150 it left the roadway, striking a utility pole which then fell and struck the Subaru. Minor injuries were reported and the driver of the F150 was cited for failing to maintain their lane of travel.
December 31st. 2025: A minor two vehicle crash occurred in the parking lot of the Landis Supermarket on County Line Road involving a Ford Escape and a Subaru Outback. Both vehicles were backing out of parking spots and struck each other. Minor damage occurred and no injuries were reported.
