Pennridge Regional Police Officers handled 152 incidents during the week of December 21st to 27th, 2025. A total of 10 traffic citations and warnings were issued during the same week.
INCIDENTS
Suspicious Activity: Police were contacted by a resident of the 000 block of Bell Court regarding a text message they received that indicated they had missed a court date and needed to pay a fee to have the warrant removed. The resident made a few phone calls and found that there was no active warrant and was advised this was common scam.
Theft: A resident of the 1000 block of Hillcroft Drive reported that they had received a package in the mail that was damaged. As the resident inspected the package, they found that $1,100 in gift cards were removed from the package. It appears that the package was damaged during transit. The resident was able to successfully deactivate the gift cards and received a refund from his credit card company.
Theft: Pennridge Regional Police were contacted by a resident of the 400 block of Goldmine Road on December 23rd regarding several packages that were believed to have been taken from the end of their driveway. Police are still currently investigating.
Harassment: Police are investigating an ongoing incident involving an unknown actor throwing items into a residence’s yard in the 2000 block of Ridge Road. The incidents involve political harassment and the investigation is ongoing.
DUI Crash Investigation: Police are investigating a motor vehicle crash that occurred on December 23rd, 2025, in the 300 block of Three Mile Run Road. The operator exhibited signs of intoxication and was transported to St. Lukes Grand View for a blood draw. The blood draw was sent to the lab, and criminal charges are pending as the result of laboratory testing.
Disturbance: On December 24th, 2025, officers responded to the White Horse Tavern for an incident involving a patron who believed their debit card was stolen Once this occurred the patron began to argue with staff and allegedly shoved a bartender and left the bar. Another employee confronted the patron and another physical altercation occurred. Police are still investigating.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
December 21st, 2025: Officers responded to the intersection of Ridge Road and Washington Ave. for Nissan Versa that had pulled out from Washington Ave. and lost control. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene, and no injuries were reported.
December 22nd, 2025: A Kia Sportage and a Ford Focus collided at the intersection of Lawn Ave. and the exit ramp from Rt. 309 Southbound. The driver of the Kia stated that they were waved out in front of Ford by another vehicle. No injuries were reported.
December 23rd, 2025:
A Chevrolet Suburban struck a Ram utility truck on Hafler Road as it attempted to pass the stopped vehicle that was tending to down wires in the area. Minor damage occurred.
Officers responded to a two-vehicle traffic accident at Ridge Road and Rt. 313 where a Chrysler PT Cruiser rearended a Jeep as it was stopped in traffic to turn into the Country Place. The PT Cruiser had to be towed from the scene and no injuries were reported.
A one vehicle crash occurred on Three Mile Run Road at Butler Lane when a Ford Focus slid off the roadway and struck a guide rail causing the Ford to be towed from the roadway. No injuries were reported.
A Nissan Rogue and a Chevrolet Express van collided on Ridge Road at Goldmine when the Nissan Rogue pulled out from the stop sign in front of the van. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene and minor injuries were reported.
December 24th, 2025: A one vehicle traffic accident occurred on Schukraft Road when a Chevrolet SUV swerved to avoid a vehicle travelling in the other direction and left the roadway striking the embankment. No injuries were reported.
December 25th, 2025: Officers responded to the Bethlehem Pike in the area of the Royann Diner for a Honda CRV that struck a deer as it crossed the roadway in front of it. Only minor damage occurred.
