Pennridge Regional Police Officers handled 321 incidents during the weeks of August 16^th, to the 29^th, 2026.   A total of 79 traffic citations and warnings were issued during the same week. 

INCIDENTS

Harassment Complaint: On August 16^th, 2026, police were contacted by a resident of the 000 block of Lenape Way regarding communication they were receiving from a soon to be ex-in-law. Police contacted the ex-in-law and advised them to cease all communication. 

Threats Complaint: Police were contacted by a business located in the 1100 block of Bethlehem Pike regarding a patient that made a threat to shoot up the business. Upon arrival of police, it was reported that a patient was unhappy with a part of the process involving their insurance and the office. As the patient walked away a staff member heard the patient state they would shoot this place up. The patient was escorted off the property by police. No criminal charges were filed. 

Theft Report: A resident of the 1600 block of Ridge Road contacted police about having nearly $4000 removed from their bank account. The resident reported that they believe a family member accessed their account from multiple ATM machines and removed nearly $4000. Police are currently investigating the thefts. 

Traffic Hazard/Fluid Spill: On August 18^th, 2026, police responded to the area of Ridge Road and Rt. 313 for a garbage dumpster roll off truck that spilled hydraulic fluid all over the roadway. Upon arrival of police and fire personnel it was determined that nearly 150 gallons of hydraulic fluid leaked on the roadway and had to be cleaned up. Police were assisted on scene by Perkasie and Dublin Fire Companies, members of the East Rockhill Township Public Works, and employees of Kirks Autobody and Towing. 

Disturbance/Threats: Police responded to St. Lukes Penn Foundation for two patients that had been involved in an argument. Upon arrival of police, it was determined that one patient had threatened to stab another patient. As the incident was investigated it was determined that the patient had no access to a knife and was becoming uncooperative with staff at the time. At the discretion of the victim and staff the patient was being treated and then escorted off the property. No police action was taken. 

Assist Other Police Agency: The Pennridge Regional Police Department assisted Bucks County Drug Taskforce Detectives with a search warrant service at a home located in the 100 block of Blooming Glen Road on August 21^st, 2026. Several items were seized from the home and two males were taken into custody by the Taskforce Detectives. 

Public Drunkenness/Welfare Check: Police responded to the 1600 block of Ridge Road following a call from a passing motorist of a male laying in the driveway. Upon arrival of police the male was found to be intoxicated and decided to lay down during his walk home. The male was provided a curiosity ride home by police. 

Theft Investigation: On August 24^th, 2026 officers responded to an AT&T Cell Tower located near the intersection of Ridge Road and Rt. 313. Upon arrival it was determined that an unknown party had entered the building and removed copper from the tower room. The estimated value of the coopper was $150 to $200. 

Attempted Fraud: Officers spoke with a resident of the 1000 block of Ingram Way who reported that they were contacted by someone identifying themselves as a credit card company. That person advised the resident that they were on a fraud list and owed $40,000 or they would be arrested. The resident downloaded an app on their phone and began speaking to someone who identified themselves as an FBI Agent. At this point the resident terminated communication and did not incur any financial loss. 

ARRESTS

DUI Arrest: A 53-year-old male resident of Quakertown was charged with DUI and related traffic offenses following a vehicle stop on August 1^st, 2026. The male was driving his vehicle on Bethlehem Pike when a Pennridge Regional Officer observed it failing to maintain a safe speed and to stay within its lane of travel. The male submitted to a blood draw and laboratory testing revealed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.15%, nearly twice the legal limit. A court date will be set in the near future. 

Simple Assault Arrest: A 28-year-old male resident of East Rockhill Township was charged with Simple Assault and related charges following a police response to his home on August 19^th, 2026. Police arrived at the residence for a disturbance between the male and his mother and step-father. When police arrived the step-father had numerous cuts and bruises that resulted from a physical altercation with the male. The male was taken into custody and arraigned. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison on $15,000 bail. 

Warrant Service: A 41-year-old female resident of West Rockhill was taken into custody on August 25^th, 2026, following a police response to a home located in the 200 block of Marshall Lane. It was determined that the female had a warrant issued by the York County Sheriff Office. The female was transported to Bucks County Prison to be transferred to York County. 

Assault Charges: A 21-year-old male resident of East Rockhill was charged with Simple Assault, Evading Arrest, Harassment and Public Drunkenness following a report of a fight. On August 18^th, 2026, police responded to the Horse Tavern for a report of a fight in progress involving two intoxicated patrons. Upon arrival of police, it was determined that two males had been refused further alcohol andwhen this occurred the bartender, and two patrons were assaulted. The one actor fled the bar before police arrival but was later identified by officers.

Disorderly Conduct Arrest: A 57-year-old male from Telford was charged with Disorderly Conduct following a police response to the Landis Supermarket on County Line Road in West Rockhill Township. Upon arrival of police, it was determined that the male had urinated in the area of the store entrance. 

TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS

August 16^th, 2026: Police responded to the intersection of Bethlehem Pike and Green Top Road for a motor vehicle crash involving a Subara Legacy and a Ford F350 pick up truck. Upon investigation it was determined that the Subaru pulled out from the stop sign and was hit by the Ford. The driver of the Subaru was ejected from the car and sustained injuries to their shoulders. Both vehicles had to be towed form the scene. 

August 19^th, 2026: 

A Honda CRV was involved in a minor traffic accident in the parking lot in a business in the 900 block of Lawn Ave. The Honda struck a split rail fence on the property. No injuries were reported.

A Subaru Impreza and a Mercedes Benz sedan collided at the intersection of Ridge Road and Rt. 313, when the Subaru made a left hand turn onto Ridge Road from Rt. 313. No injuries were reported but the Mercedes had to be driven from the scene. The driver of the Subaru was cited for causing the accident. 

August 20^th, 2026: 

A Honda Accord struck a deer as it crossed State Road in the area of Meetinghouse Road. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was driven from the scene. 

A Kia Sedona and a Subaru Impreza collided when the Kia failed to stop at the stop sign on Old Mill Road and Bethlehem Pike. The driver of the Kia was cited causing the crash and both vehicles were towed from the scene. Minor injuries were reported to police while investigating. 

August 21^st, 2026: Police responded to the area of 100 block of Ridge Road for a Chevrolet Cobolt that left the roadway and struck a tree. Both the driver and passenger sustained injuries that resulted in them being transported to the hospital. The vehicle was also towed from the scene and the driver received two citations for causing the crash and driving on a suspended license. 

August 22^nd, 2026: A two-vehicle traffic crash was reported around Ridge Road and Rt. 313 when a Ford pickup truck stopped suddenly and was rearended by a Ford F250. No injuries were reported and minor damage occurred.

August 24^th, 2026: Police responded to Bethlehem Pike and Old Mill Road for a crash involving a Chevrolet Colorado that pulled out from Old Mill Road in front of a Tesla sedan. No injuries were reported but the Tesla had to be towed from the scene. The driver of the Colorado was cited for pulling out in front of the truck. 

August 25^th, 2026: 

A Chevrolet Express van was involved in a minor motor vehicle crash on Forrst Road when it left the roadway, traveling into the drainage ditch and struck a utility pole. No injuries were reported and the van was driven from the scene.

A Jeep Grand Cherokee rearended a Subaru Outback that was stopped on Allentown Road in the area of Ridge Valley Road as they stopped for the one lane bridge. Both vehicles were driven from the scene, but the driver of the Subaru reported minor injuries. 

August  27^th, 2026: 

A one vehicle traffic accident occurred in the 1800 block of Rt. 313 when a Ford F150 struck a “storage box” in the roadway. No injuries were reported and the vehicle had to towed from the scene. 

A Toyota Rav 4 struck a Ford F350 on County Line Road as it was backing into a parking space. There were no injuries reported and only minor damage occurred. 

A two-vehicle traffic accident occurred on Ridge Road at Ridge Valley when a Toyota Rav 4 pulled out in front of a Honda traveling on Ridge Road. No injuries were reported and one vehicle had to be towed from the scene. 

August 28^th, 2026: 

Officers responded to the intersection of Ridge Road and Old Bethlehem Pike for a Honda CRV that pulled out from the stop sign and struck a Ford Fusion traveling on Ridge Road. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene. 

A Mazda CX-5 was involved in a traffic accident at Rt. 309 and Rich Hill Road when the vehicle went up the embankment. No injuries were reported. 

Pennridge Regional Officers responded to S. Main Street and State Road for a Volkswagen Tiguan, and a Merecedes been that struck each other when the Volkswagen began to pass the Merecedes on the right shoulder. No injuries were reported and minor damage occurred.
