Pennridge Regional Police Officers handled 179 incidents during the week of April 12th to the 18th, 2026. A total of 102 traffic citations and warnings were issued during the same week.
INCIDENTS
Suspicious Activity: Police were contacted by a resident of the 200 block of Catch Basin Road regarding a blue pick up truck traveling along the fields of the property. The truck was seen by a neighbor, and the incident was reported after the truck left the area. The caller believed that the truck could have been a construction company surveying the land.
Harassment: A resident of the 1800 block of Rt. 313 contacted police in regard to text messages they were receiving from a former friend. The texts and social media posts were slandering in nature and had been occurring over the last year or so. The resident did not want police to actively investigate the incident, only wanted it reported to police at this time.
Burglary: Police are investigating a burglary that occurred in the 1500 block of West Rock Road in the early morning hours of April 14th. The actors appeared to have broken a window and entered an unattached garage on the property While in the unattached garage the actors removed a four-wheeler and a side by side with a plow. The actors were able to remove the four-wheeler but were unable to remove the side by side from the property. Police were able to obtain videos of a U-Haul truck traveling on the roadway at the approximately time the incident occurred. Police are still actively investigating.
Attempted Fraud: Police were contacted by a resident in regard to a suspicious phone call they received from someone identifying themselves as an employee with the Bucks County Sheriff’s office. The caller advised the resident that they needed to verify their signature with a signature on file with the office or pay a $2400 fine. The caller identified this as a scam and contacted police to confirm.
Disturbance: Police responded St. Lukes Grand View for a report of a patient causing a disturbance while in the ER waiting for treatment. The patient was causing a disturbance by yelling on their phone and overall being disruptive. Police arrived and made contact with the patient and advised them to be respectful. The patient advised he did not want medical care, but reported they were in pain while breathing. Hospital staff and police were able to convince the patient to receive treatment and also to curb their disruptive behavior. No police action was taken.
Theft Report: A resident of the 200 block of Cathill Road contacted police regarding their lawn mower being stolen from their front yard. The caller reported that while cutting the grass, they stopped to pick up some sticks in the yard, when they returned the lawn mower was gone. No information regarding a suspect was found and the resident reported that the value of the lawn mower was under $100.
Fraud Report: A resident of the 400 block of Campus Drive contacted police regarding a phone call they received in which the caller identified themselves as an employee of TD Bank. The caller was able to provide the resident with all their pertinent information and then the resident provided them with account information. A total of $12,000 was withdrawn from the residents’ bank account and the investigation is still ongoing.
ARRESTS
Harassment Arrest: A 39-year-old white male and a 40-year-old black female, both residents of Salford Township were cited for summary harassment following a physical domestic in their vehicle on April 18th, 2026. The male allegedly grabbed the female while she attempted to leave the vehicle at the intersection of Ridge Road and Rt. 313, causing a minor injury to her ear and face. After getting back into the vehicle and driving off the female proceeded to hit the male in the face with her purse. Both were cited and released.
Forgery & Theft Arrest: A 55-year-old female resident of Souderton and a 40-year-old male resident of Perkasie were charged with Forgery and other associated charges following purchases being made at the Giant on March 25th, 2026. Police responded to Giant and were advised that the male involved was an employee and the female was a patron. The female made two separate purchases using counterfeit $100 bills at the register where the male was a cashier. Upon investigation by Giant and also our officers it was determined that the male was an acquittance of the female and was aware of her passing the counterfeit bills. Arrest warrants have been issued for both parties.
Theft Arrest: Pennridge Regional Police arrested a 61-year-old resident of East Rockhill Township on April 18th, 2026, following them being dispatched to the 5700 block of Clymer Road for a motor vehicle theft. Police were able to identify the male following a vehicle owner reporting their BMW stolen and several other vehicles on the property to be ransacked. The male was caught on video ransacking vehicles and driving off in the BMW to go for ride. The male suspect was taken into custody for motor vehicle theft, theft from vehicles and criminal mischief. The male was arraigned by a district magistrate.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
April 15th, 2026:
A four-vehicle traffic crash occurred on Ridge Road in the area of Rt. 309 when a Toyota Camry rearended a Toyota Corolla pushing it into a Toyota Prius, that in turn pushed the Prius into a Subaru Outback. All three vehicles were stopped due to the red traffic signal at Lawn Ave and Ridge Road. No injuries were reported and all vehicles were driven from the scene.
A minor two vehicle traffic crash occurred in the 000 block of Hillendale Drive when a Volkswagen Tiguan backed out of a driveway and struck a Nissan that was parked on the roadway. No injuries were reported.
April 17th, 2026: A one vehicle traffic accident occurred on Allentown Road in the area of Schukraft Road when a Kia ran off the roadway striking numerous road signs. The driver stated to police that he had fallen asleep and that is what caused him to run off the roadway. Minor injuries were reported and the vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
