Pennridge Regional Police Officers handled 152 incidents during the week of April 5th, to the 11th, 2026 A total of 56 traffic citations and warnings were issued during the same week.
INCIDENTS
Fraud Attempt: Police spoke to a resident of the 1100 block of Ridge Road on April 6th, 2026, in regard to concerning messages they received while on their computer. The resident explained that while using the internet they received a pop-up message indicating that there was illegal pornography on their computer and they would need to pay a fee to avoid arrest. After confirming that this was a scam, the resident ignored the messages.
Harassment: On April 6th, 2026, a resident of the 700 block of Allentown Road came to police headquarters to report their significant other was involved in ongoing phone harassment with an ex-friend. The resident did not want the ex-friend arrested, just wanted the calls to stop. Both sides were advised to no longer have contact with each other.
Disturbance: Police responded to the Dominos restaurant located in the Glenwood Shopping Center on April 8th, 2026, for an argument between staff and a customer in the parking lot. A customer had a verbal argument with a delivery person over how to park in the parking lot. The disagreement resulted in inappropriate language being used. The customer was advised not to return to the business.
Harassment Report: Police spoke with a resident of the 300 block of County Line Road who reported receiving harassing text messages from an individual who was dating the resident’s significant other. The messages ranged from threats of injury and damage to the resident’s property. Police are still investigating.
Disturbance: Officers responded out to St. Lukes Buxmont Gastroenterology on April 10th for a patient who arrived on scene and began to cause a disturbance. The patient had arrived without an appointment and began to call staff names and use derogatory language towards them. After assistance from the Co-Responders the patient left the location.
Fraud Investigation: Police were contacted by a resident of the 000 block of Stone Edge Road regarding messages received on their computer where they were defrauded of $48,000. The resident told police that when they called a number on their computer, which they believed to be Microsoft, the female told them that money was stolen by a Chinese company and to get their money back they needed to wire transfer $48,000. The residents did so and then begin to receive numerous phone calls from parties identifying themselves as the FBI, requesting more money. At this point the residents went to their bank to pay the requested amounts, and the bank advised it was a scam. Police are actively investigating.
DUI Investigation: On April 11th, 2026, a Pennridge Regional Police officer performed a traffic stop on a silver-colored Acura traveling on Rt. 313 in the area of N. Fifth Street for an expired registration. Upon stopping the vehicle signs of intoxication were observed by the officer and the driver was asked to perform field sobriety tests. The driver failed the tests and was transported to St. Lukes Grand View for a blood draw to determine the level of intoxicating substances in the driver’s blood. Criminal charges are pending the results blood testing.
ARRESTS
DUI ARREST: A 44-year-old resident of Quakertown was charged with DUI and other related charges following a motor vehicle crash on April 7th, 2026, on Three Mile Run Road. The male struck a telephone pole, causing disabling damage to his vehicle. The male was found waling along Three Mile Run Road and was subsequently arrested. The male refused chemical testing and was released at that time.
Harassment Arrest: A 45-year-old resident of Mongomery Township was cited for summary harassment following him sending messages to his soon to be ex wife on a court ordered child custody app. The male had sent several messages to the female in which were filled with derogatory comments. Police had contacted the male on two occasions to advise him to stop such communication before he was cited.
Criminal Mischief/Theft Arrest: A 67-year-old resident of West Rockhill was charged with criminal mischief and theft following him by removing a trail camera from a tree from his neighbor’s property and also doing nearly $500 worth of damage to a tree stand and ladder on the same neighbor’s property. The male will have a court date set in the near future.
Trespassing/Underage Drinking: Four juveniles were charged with underage drinking and trespassing following a complaint filed on March 30th, 2026, at an abandoned property located on Camp Rockhill Road.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
April 7th, 2026: A minor two vehicle hit and run crash occurred on Rt. 313 at Three Mile Run Road when a Subaru Forrester was making a left hand turn and was passed on the right by an unknown color or type vehicle. As the unknown vehicle passed the Subaru it was struck. Only minor damage was reported.
April 8th, 2026: A two-vehicle traffic crash occurred in the traffic circle located at Three Mile Run Road and Park Ave. The crash involved a Kia Sorrento that entered the circle striking a Chevrolet Equinox that was already in the traffic circle. No injuries occurred and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
April 9th, 2026:
A Jeep Wrangler pulled out from Old State Road in front of a Toyota Rav 4 that was traveling on State Road. The Toyota needed to be towed from the scene and no injuries were reported.
A Nissan Rogue struck a deer as it crossed the roadway in the 700 block of Forrest Road. No injuries were reported and only minor damage occurred.
April 10th, 2026:
A Nissan Rogue left the roadway on Forrest Road as it completed a turn from Bethlehem Pike. The vehicle ended up in the ditch, and they struck a fixed object along the roadway. No injuries were reported but the vehicle needed to be towed from the scene.
A two-vehicle collision occurred on Branch Road at Schnecksville Road when a Ford Escape pulled out from the stop sign and struck a Nissan van. Both vehicles were towed from the scene and minor injuries were reported.
April 11th, 2026: A Toyota Highlander struck the rear of a Kia Sportage that was stopping for the red traffic signal on Rt. 313 at its intersection with Mountainview Drive. No injuries were reported and only minor damage occurred.
