Pennridge Regional Police Officers handled 178 incidents during the week of March 8th to the 14th, 2026. A total of 47 traffic citations and warnings were issued during the same week.
INCIDENTS
Trespassing Incident: Police responded to the area of G.A. Peak Excavating on Clymer Ave. for a report of a unknown party on an E-Bike that had entered the fenced in area of the quarry. Police arrived and checked the area, unable to locate the individual on the property.
Harassment Complaint: On March 9th, 2026, police spoke with a resident from the 100 block of Blooming Glen Road in regard to threatening messages they received from a known person. The messages had made specific intimidating statements and were concerning to the resident. Police contacted the other party involved and it was relayed that a recent custody issue had sparked the messages and was advised of the negative impact such communication could have with the custody issue. No further police action was taken at the request of the reporting party.
Identity Theft: Police spoke with a resident of 1600 block of East Rock Road regarding a letter they received indicating that an unknown person had opened a fraudulent insurance policy in their name. The policy was closed but the resident requested the incident documented. There was no financial loss at this time and the resident was encouraged to monitor their financial statements.
Weapons Offenses: Pennridge Regional Police were contacted by Pennsylvania State Police regarding three separate incidents of people attempting to purchase firearms at the American Arms and Ammo in East Rockhill Township. Those attempted purchases were made by parties prohibited from doing so. Each incident has been assigned to an investigator.
Vagrancy Report: Police were contacted by a resident in the 300 block of Clymer Ave, for a report of a tent set up behind their property located along the railroad tracks. Police arrived and investigated the location and found the tent was empty but contained garbage and other broken items. The tent and its contents were removed after confirmation was made with the property owner that no one was given permission to camp on the property.
Criminal Mischief: Police were contacted by a parishioner of the Christ Community Church regarding damage done to a church owned van. The van was found to be leaking gasoline and when a mechanic looked at the van it was determined that the van’s gas tank was damaged by an unknown party using a drill to cause a hole in the tank. The damage incurred is estimated to be $2,000.00.
Assault Investigation: Police responded to a residence in the 5200 block of Clymer Road on March 13th, 2026, for a physical altercation between friends. Upon arrival of police, it was determined that two males, had engaged in a fight because the one male was not permitted on the property and was known to cause problems with the family of the resident. The incident is still under investigation due to several parties leaving the scene before police arrived. Criminal charges are possible.
ARRESTS
Traffic Offenses Arrest: A 53-year-old male resident from Youngstown, Ohio was charged with driving with a suspended license while being a habitual offender and with leaving the scene of a traffic accident following a crash investigation on March 8th, 2026. The crash occurred in the 200 block Goldmine Road when the male crashed a blue Chevrolet Impala and fled the scene on foot. After a brief investigation the male was identified, and an arrest warrant has been issued.
Drug Arrest: A 36-year-old male from Perkasie was charged with possession of marijuana and related drug charges following a vehicle stop that occurred on January 1st, 2026. The male was stopped by a Pennridge Regional Police officer on West Callowhill Road and Branch Road after failing to stop for a properly posted stop sign. During the course of the interaction drugs and paraphernalia were found in the vehicle.
Disorderly Conduct Arrest: Two juvenile males were cited for Disorderly Conduct following an incident involving a Pennridge Regional Officer and the juveniles on Fifth Street on March 10th, 2026. The officer had a vehicle stopped on the roadway and the juveniles continually rode their bicycles along the roadway and past the police vehicle, nearly striking it while doing wheelies and swerving in and out of traffic. Several requests were made to the juveniles to stop their actions, and each was ignored.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
March 8th, 2026: Police responded to the area of Goldmine Road and Lake Drive for a Chevrolet Impala that ran off the roadway and struck a tree.
March 9th, 2026:
A three-vehicle traffic crash occurred on Rt. 313 at Three Mile Run Road when a vehicle stopped to make a left hand turn onto Three Mile Run Road. The first and second vehicles stopped when the third vehicle ran into the back of the second vehicle pushing it into the vehicle waiting to make the left hand turn. Minor injuries were reported and two of the vehicles had to be towed from the scene. A traffic citation was issued to the vehicle driver who rearended the first vehicle.
A Jeep Cherokee and a Chevrolet Equinox collided in the traffic circle at Three Mile Run Road and Park Ave. The crash occurred when the driver of the Cherokee failed to obey the Yield Sign and collided with the Equinox. The Equinox had to be towed from the scene and no injuries were reported.
March 12th, 2026: A minor traffic accident was reported in the parking lot of the Pink City Thrift Store, which involved a Honda CRV and a parked Volvo SUV. The Honda struck the Volvo as it backed out of a parking space. No injuries were reported and minor damage occurred.
March 13th, 2026:
A Hyundai Sonata and a Ford Fiesta collided on Ridge Road at Schoolhouse Road when the Ford had stopped to turn onto Schoolhouse Road. The driver of the Hyundai admitted to striking the Ford. No injuries were reported and both cars sustained minor damage.
Police responded to the intersection of State Road and Detweiler Road for a two-vehicle traffic accident involving a Jeep Grand Cherokee that turned from the stop sign in front of a Honda Fit that was traveling on State Road. The Cherokee was towed from the scene and there were minor injuries reported at the scene. A traffic citation was issued to the driver of the Jeep.
March 14th, 2026: Officers responded to the area of Ridge Run Road and Overhill Circle for a one vehicle traffic accident involving a Toyota Corolla that ran off the roadway while making a turn and ended up in a ditch and striking a Verizon wiring box. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
