Incidents
October 29th 2023 a vehicle being driven on Ridge Valley Road in the area of Forrest Road was damaged when an unknown actor struck the mirror and broke it. The actor was unknown to the owner or driver of the vehicle.
On October 30th 2023 officers responded to the Community at Rockhill for a report of a male who was trying to leave the property after having too much to drink. The male was found to not have driven but was taken home by another party. No action taken.
October 31st 2023 Pennridge Regional Police responded to Grand View Hospital for a report of a vehicle being damaged. Upon arrival officers found a blue Honda Accord that had been “keyed” by a known male. No charges were filed at the request of the victim.
November 2nd 2023 at approximately 1230 PM officers responded to the boat launch at Nockamixon Boat Ramp for a report of harassment. Several white males operating pick-up trucks will harass visitors of the park by yelling racial slurs and also damaged a sign in the area by spray painting a swastika on the sign. There is little information regarding the trucks descriptors or the actors themselves. Those who have any information are urged to contact police.
November 2nd 2023 a resident who resides in the 100 block of Sunnyside Lane reported that a recently deceased family member has had over $35000 stolen from a bank account. Pennridge Regional Police Detectives are investigating.
On November 2nd 2023 a resident reported trespassing on a lot located in the 1000 block of Washington Ave. Officers were unable to locate an actor who was described as a hunter.
On November 3rd 2023 at approximately 1000 hours Pennridge Regional Police were notified of a threat of an active shooter at Pennridge High School. The threat indicated a student was on the property with a firearm and was going to use it on other students. After a brief investigation the threat was deemed not credible but is still under investigation.
November 3rd 2023 officers investigated a report of burning complaint in the 5700 block of Clymer Road. Upon investigation it was unclear when the alleged burning complaint occurred. No further actions taken by officers.
November 3rd 2023 at approximately 1130 am officers received a report of a phone scam. Officer learned that a resident living in the 600 block of Allentown Road was contacted and told that a family member was in an accident and in need of money. The resident recognized this as a scam and contacted family to verify everyone was okay.
Officers responded to a home in the 1000 block of Cedar Meadow Lane for a report of a disturbance on November 3rd 2023. When officers arrived, they found that a male had thrown a vehicle part at another vehicle causing damage. The owner of the vehicle did not want criminal charges filed.
On November 4th 2023 officer received a call regarding the theft of tools from garage in the 100 block of Bean Lane, West Rockhill Township. A tenant on the property reports that several tools valued at over $2500 were removed from his garage.
Arrests
Kelly Boyle, 41 years old of Sellersville PA, was cited for harassment after striking a hospital security guard at Grand View Hospital after a brief disturbance. The security guard was only slightly injured.
A juvenile was charged with possession of a suspected controlled substance and paraphernalia following a brief investigation at the Pennridge High School on October 31st 2023.
Jeffrey Oglesby, 42 years old of Philadelphia, was cited for harassment after an argument at Penn Foundation, 807 Lawn Ave, on November 1st 2023. Oglesby threatened another patient with injury and also touched him during the argument.
Jacob Schmechel, 18 years old of Telford, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after being found in possession of contraband at the Pennridge High School, 1228 N. Fifth St. on November 1st 2023. Criminal Charges were filed.
Charges filed against, Elena MacDonald 33 years old of Quakertown, following a traffic accident that occurred on a August 7th 2023 in the 1200 block of Catch Basin Road. Blood testing resulted in numerous charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and other traffic related offenses.
Charges were filed against Cody Thorsen, 31 years old of Souderton, following an investigation at Grand View Hospital on November 4th 2023. Mr. Thorsen was found to be in possession of a suspected controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. A court date will be set for Mr. Thorsen.
Ian Nawn, 39 years old of Spinnerstown Pa, was taken into custody by Pennridge Regional Officers following a medical call at residence in the 700 block of Allentown Road for a warrant out of Toms River New Jersey. Mr. Nawn was committed to Bucks County Prison awaiting extradition.
Traffic Accidents
October 29th 2023 at approximately 400 PM officer responded to the parking lot of Giant Grocery Store, 1153 N. 5th St. for a traffic accident. Two vehicle collided in the parking lot, no injuries were reported.
October 31st 2023 at approximately 645 pm a motor vehicle crash was reported on County Line Road and Hillcroft Way. A Subaru struck a deer as it attempted to cross the roadway.
November 1st 2023 at approximately 330 pm officers responded to the 8900 block of Richland Town Road for motor vehicle crash. A BMW Coupe ran off the roadway striking a tree. No injuries were reported.
November 2nd 2023 officer responded to the area of Bethlehem Pike for a motor vehicle crash. An Audi sedan turned in front of a Ford Bronco. There were no injuries reported.
November 3rd 2023 officers responded to the are of Rt 313 and Branch Road for a report of a vehicle that had struck a deer as it crossed the roadway.
November 4th 2023 officers responded to the area of N. Rockhill Road and Three Mile Run Road for a report of a struck deer. Officer found that a Hyundai had struck a deer as it crossed the roadway.
