As we approach the night before Thanksgiving—traditionally one of the busiest nights for celebrations—the New Hope Borough Police Department is reminding everyone to make smart, responsible choices.
The night before Thanksgiving has become one of the heaviest drinking nights of the year. While we want everyone to enjoy time with friends and family, drinking and driving is never acceptable. Impaired driving puts you, your passengers, and our entire community at risk.
Use a designated driver
Call a rideshare or taxi
Stay the night where you are
Never let a friend get behind the wheel impaired
Let’s work together to ensure this holiday begins safely for everyone.
On behalf of the New Hope Borough Police Department, I wish you and your loved ones a safe, peaceful, and happy Thanksgiving holiday. Stay responsible, look out for one another, and enjoy the season safely.
