New Hope Borough Police Department will join the agencies throughout the state to conduct a targeted pedestrian safety enforcement on October 20, 2022, and October 21, 2022.

The goal of targeted enforcement is to reduce the number of driving related crashes involving pedestrians crossing on roadways throughout the state. Any driver failing to yield to pedestrians, stopped by police, will receive a ticket.

The enforcement will focus on drivers failing to yield to pedestrians in crosswalks.
