The New Hope Borough Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying the male pictured above. Employees from the McCaffrey’s Food Market reported a theft of food which occurred on 09/14/2022 at approximately 11:30 a.m. The male suspect was caught on security footage stealing a container of food from the store’s prepared food section. The suspect was also observed to be accompanied by a small child. Security footage showed the suspect filling a container of food, handing the stolen food to the child, and then exiting the store without making proper payment. The suspect and child were also seen taking food from the prepared food section and eating it over the open food trays. Employees were forced to dispose of all the food per health and safety regulations. This resulted in a loss of over $2,300 for the business. The suspect and child were last seen leaving the parking lot in a white Ford F-150 pickup truck.
