The New Hope Borough Police Department is currently investigating a burglary that occurred on January 4, 2022, at approximately 0040 hours. The burglary happened at Rt. 32 Riding Gear located at 115 South Main Street. The suspect used a tool to pry open the door. The suspect stole $197.95 cash, (3) Durango leather jackets, (2) Free Scoot black & gray leather jackets, and a Shark Vision R Series 2 helmet. The suspect, slim build, was wearing dark clothing, a dark knit hat, and gloves. The suspect is seen on surveillance video entering the location at approximately 0040 hours, leaves, and then returns at 0103 hours. Both times the suspect is seen carrying items from the building and walking south along the sidewalk on South Main Street. It appears the suspect went between The Last Temptation and Zelda Boutique toward the Towpath.
