HELP IDENTIFY SUSPECT – RETAIL THEFT

The New Hope Borough Police Department is investigating a retail theft that occurred on April 12, 2023, at approximately 5:15 a.m., at Wawa located at 341 West Bridge Street. It was reported the subject attempted to pay for 11 packs of Newport 100s cigarettes, a BIC lighter, and a Monster Java Mean Bean drink. The subject’s credit card was declined twice. The male subject grabbed the items and left the store without paying. The subject then left in an SUV, possibly a Subaru.
