Doylestown Township Police handled 727 incidents during the month of February 2026. There were 39 traffic accidents investigated this month. Police issued 34 traffic citations, 124 traffic warnings, and 2 non-traffic citations.
Assault:
On February 10th, 2026, an employee of Delaware Valley University reported an assault that occurred between employees at Levin Dining Hall.
Criminal Mischief:
On February 9th, 2026, a resident on Dogwood Lane reported someone threw eggs on their vehicle overnight.
On February 12th, 2026, an investigation was initiated to determine who vandalized a vehicle parked at a business on Lower State Road. A suspect was identified and charged.
Disorderly Conduct:
On February 2nd, 2026, Officers responded to Doylestown Hospital ER for a disorderly person in the waiting room.
On February 19th, 2026, Officers responded to Doylestown Hospital ER for an intoxicated, disorderly male in the waiting room. Several hours later, Officers responded again for the same male causing further disruption.
On February 21st, 2026, Officers responded to Doylestown Hospital ER when a subject was asked to leave and engaged in a fight with Hospital security.
Driving Under the Influence:
On February 13th, 2026, a 22-year-old female was arrested for DUI after she was involved in a single vehicle crash on Almshouse Road near Easton Road.
On February 27th, 2026, a 49-year-old male was arrested for DUI following a two-car collision on Swamp Road at the entrance to Route 611 Bypass.
Fraud:
Police took 8 reports for fraud or attempted fraud during the month of February. Theft:
On February 11th, 2026, Officers investigated numerous reports of theft from vehicles and unauthorized access to unlocked cars in and around Steeplechase Drive. Please lock your cars.
On February 19th, 2026, employees at Barnes & Noble bookstore reported a $300 retail theft that happened a few days prior.
All Other:
On February 19th, 2026, police responded to Easton Road near Edison-Furlong Road to check on two individuals. A 42-year-old male was arrested when he was found to have an active arrest warrant out of New Jersey.
