The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office announced today that Bryan Christopher Williams, 31, of Philadelphia, has been taken into custody for the repeated sexual assault of a minor over a four-year period, and is being held without bail due to the threat he poses to the victim and the community at large.
Williams was apprehended without incident at approximately 7:30 a.m., on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at a residence in Philadelphia. The arrest was executed by the U.S. Marshals Service Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force. Following his capture, Williams was transported to Bucks County and turned over to Bucks County Detectives for processing.
“Arresting fugitives accused of sexual offenses protects the community and prevents further harm,” said Supervisory Deputy Marshal Robert Clark. “Prioritizing this arrest sends a clear message that sex crimes will not be overlooked.”
The defendant was charged following a joint investigation by the Bucks County Detectives and the Bucks County Park Police, after an initial report was received by the Falls Township Police Department, in late March 2026.
“This case is a great example of how multiple law enforcement agencies, along with the District Attorney’s Office, can coordinate efforts and work together to bring dangerous offenders to justice,” said Falls Township Police Chief Nelson Whitney.
The investigation was initiated after reports of sexual assaults occurring on county-owned property. According to the affidavit of probable cause, the victim provided investigators with a recording of a phone conversation from September 2025. In the recording, Williams confirmed the sexual encounters when confronted by the victim.
The sexual assaults allegedly occurred between 2021 and 2025 at various locations, including the Mill Creek Village Apartments in Penndel and the Neshaminy Shore Picnic Park in Hulmeville. The victim was 11 years old at the time of the first sexual assault.
Williams was charged with rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, rape by forcible compulsion, statutory sexual assault and corruption of minors.
Williams was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Daniel Baranoski. Due to the heinous nature of the charges and the significant risk the defendant posed to the victim and the community, bail was denied, and Williams was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
Bucks County Detectives believe Williams may have additional victims and anyone with information is urged to call them at 215-348-6354.
District Attorney Joe Khan expressed gratitude for the swift action of the federal and local partners involved in the apprehension. “The safety of our children is a paramount priority,” he said. “Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the U.S. Marshals, our county detectives, and the Bucks County Park Police, a dangerous individual is off the streets and will face justice.”
DA Khan also emphasized the fact that Williams is being held without bail. “Dangerous offenders should not be permitted to buy their way out of jail,” DA Khan said. “That’s why, in situations like this, where no conditions can ensure the safety of the community, we will continue to push for defendants to be held in custody without the ability to post any amount of cash bail.”
This case was investigated by Bucks County Detective Phil Kulan and Officer Michael Mannino of the Bucks County Park Police Department, who were assisted by the U.S. Marshals Service Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force and Falls Township Police Department. This case is assigned for prosecution to Deputy District Attorney Megan Hunsicker.
