Doylestown, PA – National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm! Bucks County Drug & Alcohol Commission, Inc. (BCDAC, Inc.), along with law enforcement agencies and community coalitions, partners biannually to host these medication collections throughout Bucks County.
This year’s Take Back event will feature 48 public collection sites throughout the county. Simply drive up – or walk in – and drop in any unused, unneeded or expired medications for safe disposal.
In addition to prescription medications, law enforcement officers will be collecting over-the-counter and pet medications, vitamins, vaping products and more. Plus, thirty sites throughout the county will be collecting medications and sharps and select sites will be distributing Narcan while supplies last.
It is important to follow safe practices with all medications, including storing medications appropriately, taking medications only as prescribed, and locking up and monitoring medications.
