🚨 WINTER WEATHER 🚨
Whether you’re checking your weather app every five minutes or listening to the forecasters on TV, one thing is clear: significant snowfall is anticipated to hit our area. How much snow, you ask? Forecasters are giving us the classic winter range of somewhere between 6 and 20 inches. (Yes… that’s a very wide range.)
What is certain:
❄️ Roads will probably be slick
❄️ Visibility will probably be poor
❄️ Driving conditions will probably deteriorate
đź“– The best plan is to stay home, get cozy with a good book or warm drink, and enjoy watching the snowfall from indoors. It's the safest place to be
🚗 Travel should be restricted. If you don’t have to go out, please don’t.
🚨 Snow Emergency Restrictions May Be In Effect
During a snow emergency:
• Travel is limited to essential purposes only
• Vehicles may be restricted from parking on roadways - please see the Buckingham Township website for township information and restrictions
🧊 Before the snow starts, take a few minutes to prepare:
• Prepare your vehicle (fuel, windshield fluid, snow brush)
• Check batteries in flashlights and other essentials
• Charge phones, devices, and backup power sources
These restrictions and preparations help plows and emergency crews do their jobs and help keep everyone safer.
