Keep your car doors locked and windows closed.

Secure your car keys.

Park your car in secure areas.

Remove valuables from the car. 

If going from store to store without stopping home, place valuables/packages out of view like in the trunk.

Activate your car alarm.

Install safety devices.

Ship it to work. Keep your package off the porch in the first place.

Enlist a neighbor's help.

Require a signature.

Take advantage of alternative delivery options and alerts.

Keep your porch clear and visible.

Ask for your box to be nondescript.
