Join us on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. for the 78th Annual Berks County Armed Forces Day Parade along Penn Avenue in Wyomissing and West Reading. This rain-or-shine event is a wonderful opportunity to honor and celebrate the brave men and women who serve our country.

Please note the following traffic and road closure information:

• Penn Avenue will be closed between Reading Boulevard in Wyomissing and 3rd Avenue in West Reading.
• Parade participants will stage in the 800 and 900 blocks of Penn Avenue.
• The parade route begins at 8th Avenue and concludes at 4th Avenue in West Reading.
• Road closures will begin at 8:30 a.m. and remain in effect until the conclusion of the parade.
• A marked detour route will be in place to assist motorists traveling around the event area.

We encourage everyone to come out and show their support as we celebrate the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of our Armed Forces members and veterans. We look forward to seeing you there!
