After being postponed from Tuesday, July 28 to Friday, July 31 due to inclement weather, the Wyomissing Summer Carnival proved that a change in plans couldn't stop the community from coming together for a great time. Once the weather cooperated, families and friends enjoyed an afternoon filled with fun, laughter, and community spirit.
A special highlight was Chief John Phillips, who was a great sport in the dunk tank and kept everyone laughing as friends and neighbors lined up to take their best shot. Meanwhile, Officer Maria Figueroa-Medina had a fantastic time meeting with all of the kids, sharing smiles, conversations, and making lasting connections throughout the event.
Thank you to everyone who came out, as well as all of the volunteers and organizers who made the Wyomissing Summer Carnival such a success. We appreciate everyone's patience and flexibility following the weather-related postponement and are already looking forward to next year's carnival.
