Road Work Update for the Week of November 2, 2026

The Castle Shannon Police Department would like to inform residents of the following road work projects scheduled for the week of November 2, 2026:

Killarney Road at Library Road

Contractors for Columbia Gas will be working to complete the "tie-ins" and gas line work on Killarney Drive. The work will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Wednesday. During this time, Killarney Road will be reduced to one lane, with westbound traffic flowing toward Route 88, and eastbound traffic being detoured. Flaggers and police officers will be present to direct traffic, but motorists should expect delays.

Spring Street at Library Road

PAWC contractors will continue working on the large main in the neighborhood from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Wednesday.

The road closure affects Janet, Mathilda, Steiger, and Spring Streets.

Castle Shannon Blvd

Contractors for Columbia Gas are finishing up concrete pad replacement from Shop n' Save to Myrtle Ave. This work will be conducted from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday through Wednesday.
