Pa American Water will be closing Castle Shannon Blvd this afternoon between Willow Ave and Route 88 to repair a water main.

This emergency work is sure to impact Friday afternoon rush hour traffic today July 24, 2026 from 3pm through the evening.

The detour will be Route 88 north to Grove Rd to Willow Ave to Castle Shannon Blvd

Southbound 88 traffic will travel to Rockwood Ave to Willow Ave and back to Castle Shannon Blvd.

Eastbound Castle Shannon Blvd traffic will travel right on Willow Ave to Rockwood Ave to Rte 88

Please avoid this area if at all possible.
