This is a message from Allegheny Alerts.
The Allegheny County Health Department today confirmed 40 positives cases of COVID-19, with four individuals hospitalized. The department is also aware of a number of additional cases that have not yet been updated in the system and expects these numbers to continue to grow.
The most important thing you can do to help stop the spread is to stay at home and practice social distancing. What the community is doing today has an impact next week and the week after that so please stay on target. Stay home and continue social distancing. Continue to practice good hygiene. Wash your hands often. Cover your coughs and sneezes. Frequently clean highly-touched surfaces.
If you are sick, stay at home. Remain separated from others so as not to further spread any virus or disease.
And visit www.alleghenycounty.us/coronavirus for important information and tools to help you through this, including CDC’s self-checker.
CSPD NOTE: We stay at work to help you...PLEASE stay at home to help us!
