Some people infected with COVID-19 do not have symptoms and may still be able to transmit the disease to others without knowing that they have it. This is why physical distancing is so important.
Individuals who are sick with symptoms associated with COVID-19 and are treating themselves at home should continue to stay at home until three days after symptoms subside and at least seven days after symptoms began, whichever is longer. If symptoms are getting worse and there are any warning signs like trouble breathing, persistent pain or pressure in the chest, new confusion or inability to arouse or have bluish lips and face, please call 9-1-1.
